Ostend at Anchor 2010

From 27 May until 30 May the eleventh edition of 'Ostend at Anchor' (Oostende voor Anker) will take place. This year it's all about the Ostend privateers.
No less than 200 ships take part and you can board certain vessels to take a sailing trip. The quays also provide plenty of entertainment: exhibitions, free concerts and a maritime - inspired market.

The maritime institute Mercator opens its doors on Saturday 29 May and Sunday 30 May to all those with an interest in nautical and maritime training.
